On Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 9:57 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a red Dodge Charger near SW 172 Terrace and SW Marty Lane in Beaverton. Deputies knew the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Amir Walker, had several warrants for his arrest related to gun possession, promoting prostitution, coercion, and felony assault.
When deputies attempted to stop Walker’s vehicle, he sped off. Shortly after, Walker’s car crashed into two parked cars near Merlo Station High School. Walker ran from the scene on foot. Deputies surrounded the area to attempt to locate Walker, but he was not located.
Merlo Station High School was placed in lockout during the search.
Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating Walker. Walker is 6′ 2″ tall, weighs 150 lbs., has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing gray sweats and a gray beanie. Walker is armed and dangerous, and community members should not approach him. If community members know of Walker’s location, please call 911.
