On Wednesday, 2/9/22, Tigard Police Detectives in the Commercial Crimes Unit made an arrest in a recent store robbery.

The robbery happened on 1/20/22 around 4:40 PM, when two men stole merchandise from a store in the 13500 block of SW Pacific Highway. One of the men ran away on foot, while the other pulled a knife and threatened employees before getting away in a car.

Investigators identified the man who pulled the knife as Clayton Kittleson, age 36, from Vancouver. Mr. Kittleson was arrested in Portland on 2/9/22 and is being charged with first-degree robbery.

The second suspect in this case is still outstanding and the investigation remains active. Anyone that can help investigators identify the second suspect is asked to email tips@tigard-or.gov or call the Tigard Police tip line at 503-718-COPS.
