Beaverton Police recently released images of the red SUV that may have caused a deadly hit-and-run in Beaverton yesterday morning. If you have seen this car, please contact Beaverton Police Department at 503-629-0111.

Beaverton Police Officers began investigating this particular hit-and-run case yesterday morning, after a 911 caller reported a red SUV struck an elderly female while she was in the crosswalk at the intersection of Hall Blvd. and Farmington Rd.

Officers arrived at the scene and determined the female was deceased from her injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates the red SUV was traveling northbound on Hall Blvd. then turned westbound on Farmington Rd., striking the victim as she walked across Farmington Rd. from south to north. Photos of the vehicle can be seen in images released by Beaverton Police Department:

After the vehicle struck the victim, the driver made no attempt to stop and check on the victim or exchange information.

The Washington County Crash Analysis and Reconstruction Team (CART) is currently investigating the crash. This is an ongoing investigation.
