The victim from the homicide in Old Town last Friday has been identified as Jaquan Jamaul Jenkins, 26. His family has been notified of his death and provided the attached photograph for public release. The family does not wish to speak to media.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner performed an autopsy and determined Jenkins died from a gunshot wound and ruled his death a homicide.
Homicide detectives believe there were a number of people who witnessed the incident who did not remain on scene to speak with police.
