On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 5:14 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a man hit by a train near the intersection of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Southwest 198th Avenue.
Medical personnel attempted life-saving efforts, but the man did not survive.
Southwest 198th Avenue will be closed while the investigation is underway. Please use an alternate route.
