On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force arrested 35-year-old Jimmy Pierce of Portland in connection with the 2017 murder of then 34-year-old Ramon Harris. The task force arrested Jimmy Pierce near SE Bush Street and SE 112 Avenue in Portland.
On May 19, 2017, a large group traveled from a club in Portland to Xpose Club, located at 10270 SW Canyon Road in Beaverton. Ramon Harris was shot outside the club shortly after their arrival. The Washington County Major Crimes Team responded to the scene to investigate the shooting.
Over the next several years, the case remained open, and investigators continued to work on the case. On April 22, 2022, the case was presented to a Washington County Grand Jury, and an indictment was issued. A felony warrant was then issued for Jimmy Pierce’s arrest for the following criminal charges:
- Murder in the second degree
- Unlawful use of a weapon
- Felon in possession of a firearm
After the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force arrested Jimmy Pierce, he was lodged in the Multnomah County Detention Center on the warrants related to the death of Ramon Harris and additional unrelated warrants.
