On July 3rd at 4:30 AM, Hillsboro Police responded to a report of a roll over, single vehicle crash near NW Tanasbourne Dr/NE Stucki Ave. When officers arrived, they discovered the vehicle on its top and fully engulfed on fire. One person was freed by officers and transported to a local hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. A second occupant was deceased.  The cause of crash is unknown and unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.

The Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team was called to the scene and investigated the crash.

While the investigation was underway NW Tanasbourne Dr was shut down between NE 106th Ave and NW Stucki Ave.

The Washington County Crash Analysis and Reconstruction Team (CART) have completed the crash scene investigation. Hillsboro Public Works Crews cleared a down tree and debris from the roadway. All roads effected by the crash are open. 

The Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) is a multi-agency team of specially trained law enforcement officers from the Sheriff’s Office, local police departments, and the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. The team investigates and reconstructs traffic crashes that may result in the prosecution of felony assault or manslaughter charges. The team can also assist with diagramming crime scenes.
