On April 10th at 2:33 a.m., 911 dispatchers received a call reporting a commercial building on fire at 305 N Springbrook Road in Newberg. First-incoming crews from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue found the single-story structure to be fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival.

Firefighters began aggressive fire attack measure to keep the flames contained to the one structure, preventing any spread to other nearby facilities. Due to the significance of the fire and rapid spread throughout the large commercial building, the incident was upgraded to a second alarm, adding more resources from TVF&R and several neighboring mutual aid fire departments.
