A suspect has been indicted for the murder of Jose Valentin Perez five months ago, and public assistance is requested to locate him.

On Sunday, May 14, 2023 at 3:34a.m., Perez died after a shooting in the 6500 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street in the Cully Neighborhood. Two other victims were injured.

On Friday, October 27, 2023, after the Multnomah County District Attorney’s office brought the case to a Grand Jury, Jesus Ivan Perez-Toribio, 33, was indicted for Murder in the Second Degree, Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, and Assault in the Second Degree. Perez-Toribio is a Hispanic male, 33 years old, 5’7” tall, 160 lbs. If anyone knows of Perez-Toribio’s location, do not approach and call 911.
