Yesterday evening, the Lake Oswego Fire Department responded to a report that a vehicle crashed through the upstairs level of a 2-story home. According to Lake Oswego Police, the driver of the vehicle was traveling along Bergis Rd. at high speeds when the vehicle struck a berm, or a raised embankment, which launched the vehicle into the second story of the home.
According to officials, the driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
There were some pets at the home at the time of the crash. None were injured. Nobody else was in the house at the time of the collision. Officers are still investigating the incident.
