The Oregon Board of Forestry will meet next week in eastern Oregon, with a field tour and community social scheduled on Wednesday, April 26, and a strategic planning meeting scheduled on April 27. There will not be a virtual option for the field tour or community social, but the meeting will be livestreamed on the department’s YouTube page. The planning retreat offers the board and department leadership the opportunity to connect on their shared strategic plan in an informal setting from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Cloverleaf Hall, 600 NW 1st St. in Enterprise. No public comment or testimony will be accepted during the retreat.

During this retreat, board members will focus on:

  • Forestry Program for Oregon draft review
  • Setting strategic goals
  • Revisiting work from the October 2022 retreat
