Beaverton City Council (Position 1) was vacated after Mayor Lacey Beaty, then a City Councilor, beat incumbent Denny Doyle in last year’s run for mayor.
After a crowded election field in May didn’t yield a clear winner, the two candidates with the most votes went into a head-to-head runoff election.
Hartmeier-Prigg, the apparent winner of the runoff election, will hold the position of City Councilor (Position 1) until the term expires next year.
