Plan to attend this year’s Beaverton Night Market, happening on two different Saturdays, July 23 and August 13 from 5 to 10 p.m. at The Round in downtown Beaverton.
More than 60 booths, ranging from established businesses to those who are vending for the very first time, will share their cultural wares and foods along with performances highlighting cultures across the globe.
“I am really excited about the opportunity that the BNM provides,” said Diversity Advisory Board planning committee member Amrit Mann. “It is a great way to celebrate Beaverton’s cultural diversity and to make new friends and reacquaint with old ones.”
In addition, attendees can anticipate family-friendly cultural games and activities as well as a special breakdancing exhibition in collaboration with USA Breakin’ North West All Styles Dance Group at the July market.
The Beaverton Night Market is now in its eighth year. The project is organized by the city’s Diversity Advisory Board, a group of appointed community advisors on equity and inclusion strategies that strengthen connections between diverse communities and city government.
