Last Month, the Westside Interagency Narcotics (WIN) team shutdown an illegal marijuana grow operation at a property north of Hillsboro suspected of being the center of a multi-million dollar illegal marijuana growing operation.

The 29-acre property where the bust occurred is located at 13275 NW Jackson School Road in North Plains. The property has a house, barn, and horse arena that were all turned into growing facilities.

The approximate street value of the bust, which included 800 pounds of dried marijuana and over 5,000 marijuana plants, was approximately $6.5 million, including about $500,000 worth of equipment and $22,000 in cash also being seized.

WIN includes multiple agencies including Beaverton Police Department, Hillsboro Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s office, the Oregon National Guard, and the FBI.
