A second arrest has been made in a December Lents Neighborhood shooting, and the suspect is facing attempted murder charges.
Detectives with the Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST) determined that the suspect who shot the victim was Edward A. Reyes, 24.
On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested Reyes in the Harmony Point Neighborhood of Clackamas County. Reyes also had a shotgun with him at the time of the arrest, which was seized as evidence. He was interviewed by ECST detectives and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
