At 2:45 a.m., multiple callers to 911 reported fire coming from a shed, several vehicles and a recreation vehicle at a property on Dahlke Lane in Sherwood.

Fire crews arrived to a large property with several dozen vehicles, sheds, shipping containers and recreation vehicles scattered amongst scrap material. The fire was growing in the middle of a large grouping of these items and proved challenging to access. Five occupants of the recreation vehicles evacuated safely from the fire and were uninjured.

As the fire grew it caused several propane tanks to explode and the heat from the fire threaten powerlines running above the property. The area did not have hydrants nearby so fire crews shuttled water to supply a consistent water flow to firefighters battling the fire.

TVF&R fire investigators are on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
