On Tuesday, June 7, at about 2:11 pm, Hillsboro Police officers were alerted to suspicious circumstances in an open field in the area of NE 25th Ave. and NE Beacon Ct. Hillsboro. At the time, Hillsboro Police Detectives conducted a death investigation of an unknown person. The person has now been identified.
The deceased individual, located on 6/7/2022 in the area of NE 25th Ave. and NE Beacon Ct. Hillsboro, has been identified as Don Askey, date of birth: 4/1/1970. It does appear that Mr. Askey has been deceased for an extended amount of time, and at this point, authorities have not discovered evidence of foul play. Mr. Askey was reported as a missing person in 2015.Â
