The Homeowners, along with multiple other callers to 911 were reporting a garage fire that was spreading quickly to the residence.  Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to the scene in this unincorporated area of Multnomah County.

First arriving firefighters found a large two-story home that was fully involved in fire. The occupants of the residence confirmed that everyone had made it outside safely. Firefighters worked to keep the flames from the residence from spreading to nearby trees and vegetation. Unfortunately, the home was a total loss.

Because of the rural location, firefighters had to shuttle water into the scene using water tenders that can carry up to 3000 gallons of water. Firefighters established a water tender fill site at the nearby Skyline fire station and continued to shuttle water to the scene throughout the operation.

A TVF&R fire investigator is on scene to determine the cause of the fire and is waiting for daylight to begin their investigation. TVF&R was assisted on scene by firefighters from Portland Fire and Rescue and Hillsboro Fire and Rescue.
